Creepy Crawlies
Another fanastic bite-size morsel of knowledge. There are MORE PARASITES ON EARTH THAN FREE-LIVING ORGANISMS. Doesn't really bother me, but I'm loving freaking strangers on the street out with this fact. Literally, freaking strangers out. Try it. Go outside, and the first person you see, tell them that interesting fact. The look of fear on there face is not because they have some freak randomly spewing info at them. Oh no, it's the sudden realisation that they must have at least a handful of little bugs and worms living inside their bodies at that precise moment. Mmm, mites, lice, fleas, ticks, microscopic worms.
Great fun for that mid-week slump.
