Tami-flu, Shmami-flu, we're all going to die

Is it so wrong that I'm getting really excited that there may be an outbreak of bird flu worldwide that could cause up to 360 million deaths. My first world wide pandemic that could change the face of the earth forever. Could this be our meteorite? It's non-discriminatory, so anyone will catch it, and it is highly virulent in both birds and humans, so there's a good chance you'll die too, which by the way is suffocation, or drowning as your lungs fill with blood. Also, and here's the best bit, there is no cure and no vaccine. This Tami-flu business that all the government are stocking up on is a load of pants. It's going to do nothing. It's better than the flu vaccine, but you need to have it within 48 hours of first symptoms, which could be a runny nose, or a tickly cough. Most of the 60 people that have died, died within a week, which is something to look forward to as well. If the evolutionary gods are feeling in a good mood too, they may even allow the H5N1 virus to mutate just enough that it keeps its virulence, and will be able to be transmitted between humans, Yay!

Well enough morbid thoughts for today, I must crack on with the studies...94 more hours to go.
