Slave to the music
I really do wonder where I come up with these crap titles. So, back to work, and thank the dear sweet Lord there wasn't any awkwardness amongst the colleagues today after Thurday's shenanigans. I am however a bit, shall we say annoyed, at the situation at my work which involves certain members of staff and their ability to get time off with 2 hours notice, which leaves me picking up the pieces. As much as I like to be kept busy, I do not appreciate working a 10 hour day EVERYDAY because certain people feel they need time off in the afternoon. If they were my employees, they would be sacked. Harsh, but true. I hate lazy people.
Good word of the day in the free dictionary....."paronomasia- (noun) play on words". I'm going to use that in my conversations tomorrow....."What ho, that was such a paronomasia you just used....chortle chortle chortle". I shall also attempt to get "raspberries" into as many sentences (this appears to be a daily task) and sing the bananaphone song and drive EVERYONE up the wall with it. Speaking of everyone in our office, we have a new Area manager, who has had the delight of forming his first impression of me. I have given him the following scenarios to base his judgment:
thumping one of the lads with some important security documents-for teasing me about the last area manager, which is a just and nobel cause for thumping someone,
singing the bananaphone song at the top of my voice,
and threatening to wear a box on my head...again (I shall save the story of the previous area manager for another time).
I'm such a model employee.
