Back in action
So, 2008. It adds up to 10. It seems to be promising.
There really isn't all that much to say, but I am only going on 16 days experience. I lie, there really is quite a lot to say, but I question whether it's really worth saying. Right now I'm trying to get back into routines and such. Get my old zest back as well. I subscribed to New Scientist, so I should have some exciting interesting facts soon. The internet has taken over my life, and I think that I have completely stopped reading those paper things. I have 4 months of National Geographics waiting to be read, but I'm too intimidated by all the paper, that they are still sitting there. I know I'll open those NSs, so I'm hoping they will be my salvation from my paperless ways.
Uni is a blast. I really am enjoying this semester. Things are going far better, and although work is challenging, I'm not feeling absolutely overwhelmed by it. Good stuff there.
Kyle left on Saturday, and things as tumultuous at the moment. Not in a bad way, not through fighting or disagreements, but through not being able to be together. It really is tough trying to plough our way through each day. Things are up in the air as usual, with neither of us having an idea of when the next trip will be, or what the summer will look like. Hey, ho, only another 3 1/2 years to go....
I had an absolutely amazing time over Christmas, New Year etc. It was good to see my family, and hang out with my brother, and play Rayman and Wii bowling against my dad. I had a silly cold over New Year's, so that was spent as planned.
Apart from all that excitement, it's been back to the slog. No interesting snippets appear to be surfacing, as everything seems to be about elections, or Diana, or NHS dentists. It really is a sad, sad world. A sad, sad cold world though, we're expecting snow tomorrow, which I'm less that pleased about. That means I have to walk 1 1/2 miles worth of baby steps to and from King's Buildings, oh the joy.
Back to catching up on lectures I decided were pants last semester.
