Indeed

Well, it's that time of the month again - blog time. It's been a crazy few weeks as I have been in the Americas. Firstly, the flight over was ok, but immigration was a bit meh - they asked me lots of questions this time. Kind of like in the creepy guy wanting to find out more about you way. I feel slightly violated by that. Other than that, all is well. Happy and healthy (knock on wood) in this glorious country filled with sunshine and corn. Lots of corn. Tasty, tasty corn. We've been up to so much stuff, it's really been a blessed trip. A few things we have done so far are:

Drove up to State College and ate sundaes in an old school diner. Also looked at potential places to work when Kyle eventually goes up there in a few years

Went to Dorney Park Wild Water Kingdom and burnt my scalp - go me. Also had a fab time despite being the pastiest person there.

Finally watched the Dark Knight. Oh - and Tropic Thunder - do not watch it if you value your sanity. Also ate awesome buttery popcorn.

Went up to the Adirondacks, NY, and enjoyed nature. We hiked and boated out on the lakes. Also ate giant soft serve ice creams from "Grannies".

Went to a few of Kyle's classes, which were just silly. Calculus is no way to start one's day! Also, people are far too polite here.

Spent a whole day in bed watching dvd's and nothing else. Everyone must watch Black Sheep - the NZ film please. Also may have bruised Kyle in the ribs >_<

Went up to Longwood Gardens and the Renaissance Faire, where we gazed at beautiful flowers and ate turkey drumsticks like heathens, in order. Also possibly insulted many aspiring actor attempting to do English accent and found an "Isle of Man" stall selling wooden swords.

We've done loads of walking around, cycling and just general appreciation of the countryside around us, which has been fun. The only downside is that his lordship has to go to classes every morning, and has been very good about doing his homework, which has mightily sucked for me, but I'm happy he's putting so much effort into it.

Once again, too lazy to upload piccies on here, so all will be put on Facebook. Will probably edit this numerous times when I remember what else we have been up to.

Happy Monday
